Canon-specific: In the song Jožin z Bažin, the chairman of a village promised his daughter's hand in marriage and half of the local agricultural collective to the narrator if he brought in the monster Jožin, dead or alive. The narrator successfully caught Jožin and decided to sell him to the zoo instead. What did the daughter think about her father's offer? Did the chairman have her permission to offer her hand in marriage? Was the chairman serious about his offer?
Why did the narrator decide he'd rather have cash than marriage to the chairman's daughter and half of an agricultural collective?
How does Jožin adapt to the zoo? Does he hate being in captivity? Does he enjoy a wider variety of food? Does he enjoy watching and interacting with people, even though he can no longer hunt them?
Possible prompts:
The narrator wants to accept the chairman's offer, but only if the chairman's daughter's wants to marry him. She does not. What I love about the book:
It's Agatha! ;) I love everything Agatha Christie wrote, this is one of the crime novels without a famous detective and it's - in my opinion - even more exciting. I love novels where a young gentleman accidentally becomes a detective. I also love the way it's narrated, you can't be certain about anything. The suspense! And there are great descriptions of the nobility and the way of life back then.

- underground hero Izuku AU (or like, a student with that goal); either where Izuku remains quirkless or he gets One for All and decides to go underground anyway

I love all of the scheming/politics/identity porn in this show, so more of that is always great, and I'd also be open to some kind of identity reveal, if you wanted!
I'm cool with MCS's canon death, a fix-it, or just leaving things open. Whatever works for your story! And equally for canon divergences, they don't have to be fix-its, just exploring something different or even making it worse is great! Maybe a solo fic about palace schemes? Something with Noble Consort Wan and/or the Emperor? His gang of street children?* Dong'er? Suitang & Wang Zhi if you don't want to write all three of them in a relationship? Jia Kui and/or Ding Rong?
I am also interested in the concept of omegaverse + eunuchs, if that's something that you'd be interested in! I've explored it a bit myself, but I'd love to see your take!
*I'm pretty sure one of the beggar children's names is credited wrong on MDL if you use that... I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be Xiao Niqiu 小泥鳅 (little loach/mudfish) not Xiao Niqui

Sui Zhou/Tang Fan/Wang Zhi: Their dynamic is so interesting... love how competent they all are even if they obviously have their moments. I really enjoy the way the three of them go to each other when they have problems. There's a kind of trust there? Even when they don't completely trust each other. Also enjoy the way they do things for each other that they probably wouldn't do for other people.
One thing that I think might be interesting is just the logistics of how the relationship might work for them, with all of them having their various responsibilities. (Also sexually, what with WZ being a eunuch. If Sui Zhou and Tang Fan have a sexual relationship, does Wang Zhi want to be involved?)

For Lei Chun/Su Mengzhen, I loved the flashbacks of them as children, I loved the history between them and how well they knew each other, I loved how long they tried to make things work until things fell apart completely. I'd love something canon divergent where their engagement didn't fall apart (what would happen if they'd gotten married before relations soured?) or maybe something that goes canon divergent around her father's death when their relationship completely broke down? Or just something bittersweet and canon compliant would also be nice. If you just want to write established relationship, you can handwave the lead up to if you want. Maybe something that deals with Su Mengzhen's chronic illness?
Feel free to include whichever other characters you like, but I particularly like Di Feijing and his sibling relationship with Lei Chun. And you don't have to ignore the Lei Chun/Bai Choufei plot from canon if it's relevant to the story you want to tell.

So many interesting implications... I absolutely adore identity porn so this is right up my alley! I'd love something a little on the dark side for this one? Like why did the teacher die in the first place? What was their relationship like when they were teacher and student? I think it might be more interesting if they weren't together in that life, but did the student have a crush? How did the reborn teacher end up as a concubine? Why does the teacher feel the need to hide his former identity? If the emperor is immortal, how long has it been since his teacher died? Concubine implies one of multiple spouses and probably not the main spouse-- what is that dynamic like? Is reincarnation normal in this world or is this a weird thing to have happened? Idk, have fun with it!

Modern Day Witch Who Runs a Potion Shop in a Mall/Ghost Haunting the Hot Topic Next Door (F/M)

I would prefer a female witch/male ghost.

I love how this ship is implied modern magic realism where you can just sell potions in a normal mall! Are ghosts just a normal thing here? And you can take "modern" with a grain of salt... I'd take anything 21st century if you'd prefer to use a Hot Topic setting that isn't mostly Disney and Anime like it is now.

I was imagining a forever young (but 18+) male ghost. Very cool with the witch being 2+ decades older than the ghost appears to be if that’s something you’d be interested in! I think that’d be an interesting dynamic! But really I'm open to a wide range of ages for her, although I'd prefer she be at least mid 20s

• Idea 1: the ghost has been dead for a long time (1950s? 1890s? 1770s?) but no one can tell bc he can change how his outfit/hair looks and he likes to "shop" at the Hot Topic he haunts so people tend to assume he died more recently. Maybe he confides in the witch exactly how long he's been dead?

• Idea 2: he died in the 1980s or 1990s when the mall was already around but the Hot Topic was a different store. He's stuck haunting whatever shop is there and complains about the passage of time (and also maybe worries what will happen to him when the mall no longer exists)

If you have another idea you think I'd like, tho, go for it!
