Interactive Fiction does count, although mods will have to be able to check the length somehow (which makes the easiest option doing it on AO3 and using links to chapters to be the "choices" but if you had some specific other IF method in mind feel free to email or comment and we can try to work something out).
That said, just as with poetry, you should probably get people to opt in before you gift it. You can ask via mod if your recip is interested in receiving IF, if they neither opt in nor DNW it in their signup or letter.
