Thanks from the bottom of my kidneys to Asymptotical/Firebird, Leaf/Tavina, lailah_tov, and anonymous additional tagmods and helpful people who made this year's HA happen, plus the pinch hitters, plus everyone who left great feedback last year. Thanks again to Leaf and also to the saintly Modzilla for not biting my head off when I blithely scheduled HA against both FFFX and AU5k, oops. I'll try not to do that again.

I'll level with you... when I started setting up this round of HA, I thought it would probably be my last one and then I'd hand it off to someone else. But then everything went SO WELL and SO SMOOTHLY that I've totally fooled myself into thinking it will always be this easy, so I'm on board for 2026. I hope you are too!

I really do like that we have AO3 nominations again this year and will happily keep helping with tagmodding to include it - something about my brain always works better with the ao3 dropdowns rather than the sheet, so my vote will always be for some combination of the two.

I loved the longer period between works reveals and works due, and I also really enjoyed the comic opt ins! overall I feel like this year's event was a great combo of pressure and points of relief in terms of overall schedule. <3 thank you so much again for all that you do HA mod!

Yay for next year! If the schedule is similar again I'll definitely take part. (If reveals are later than the end of March, I probably won't be able to, alas.)

The nominatins and the two weeks between deadline and reveals worked really well for me, I hope you keep them! :)

I liked every change about this year (yay for comics! and google forms! and a two-week editing period!) except for the timing overlapping with FFFX and AU5k, and I wasn't even doing AU5k myself. xD I'm honestly not certain if there's a good way around the schedule problems (so many exchanges nowadays!), but hey good luck working them out.

That said, I think that if HA needs to overlap with FFFX, I think that this overlap (where HA writing period begins after the free FFFX extensions/after FFFX's writing period ends) is the best possible overlap. It did mean there was a ton of longfics revealing at similar times, though, which made getting to all of them harder.

Yes, please to shifting HA at least slightly away from FFFX/AU5k. Maybe later February into March?

Mewses deserting me at inconvenient times meant that the one-two-three of the three exchanges this year was considerably more wearing than ideal.

Other than that, everything went well! Thank you for leaving noms to be on AO3 as well as a Google form. Two weeks between due-date and reveals went well.

Thank you for another loverly exchange where I was able to achieve my second Triple Crown victory!!!!
