Any story you dream up that has Jungchee and/or a Jung & Appa reconciliation will make me blissfully happy! I have tons of specific prompts in my letter, as well as a lot of general and smut likes, but as long as you give me happy-Jungchee and/or a reconciled Jung & Appa, I will be thrilled. :)

Shang-Chi took me by storm and utterly charmed me. I love everything about it, its characters, and its universe, and I adore the three characters I’ve requested so much.

I ship Katy with both Xialing and Shang-Chi, but not as a threesome or love triangle, and not in the same fic. I want Katy to be great friends with whatever Xu sibling she is not dating. :)

For both pairings, I am dying for shipfic that is full of romance, affection, and banter. Smut would be 1000% welcome but is not necessary if you don’t write it. I also love canon-typical plots and adventures, and would love to read about how these three fit into a broader Avengers story (with them as the focal points and the romance one of the major plot threads, please!) I have a bunch of general and smut likes in my letter, along with a ton of specific canon prompts!

For Katy/Xialing, I love how they have such fantastic charisma and basically start flirting the moment they meet, how Xialing saves Katy's life on the scaffolding and Katy returns the favor in the final battle, how both of them break out of the molds that their societies try to place them in and find their own path. I love what big fans they are of each other, and how they bond through this epic experience, and how they both save the world. I want to know how they might get together, and how they might face their future side-by-side.

For Katy/Shang-Chi, I adore the close, intimate friendship these two have with each other, and the warm lived-in feel to their intimacy. It’s palpable how deeply they care about each other, and while I love the gen version of that friendship, I’d love to see it develop into something more. I really like the interpretation that the move from friends to lovers was never possible before because they both knew, consciously or subconsciously, that Shaun was holding something back; now that the truth has been laid bare and they have no secrets from each other, the next dimension of their relationship has become possible.

I feel that Shang-Chi is tremendously masculine, in fact in a refreshingly healthy way with how respectfully and equally he treats the women in his life. So again, please no virgin!Shang-Chi who doesn’t know how sex works. Or Katy or Xialing for that matter – I’d rather all three be experienced and confident in their sexuality.
  • Please no mention of the fan theory that the gang leader Shang-Chi killed at fourteen was actually Katy’s grandfather.
  • Please no Razor Fist (except as a background enforcer role for Wenwu or Xialing), and no large focus on Trevor.

    I am always weak for angry emo teen / soft-spoken but secure person who adores them.
    If you're watching as a safety, Otabek only comes in in the last few episodes, but Yuri is in most of the series.

    • I love Yuri with my whole heart. I love how angry he is. I love how much he loves his grandpa and his cat. I love how ambitious he is - and how he learns that it's okay to chill out sometimes over the course of the series!
    • I also love Otabek! He seems so cool and suave and edgy, but like, he took Yuri to a park to tell him he liked his eyes.
    • My favorite YOI characters beyond them are JJ, Mila, and Victor, but there isn't anyone I dislike.

    Fandom-specific DNWs:
    • I don't love, like, edgy badass Otabek fics. He can be a little edgy if that's your thing (like, a teenager's idea of edgy), but he's not a hardened criminal, or anything. If anything, I think Yuri is probably legit edgier than Otabek.
    • No references to religion are fine, but if you do reference religion, I read Yuri as Jewish (secular, usually, because Russia), and Otabek as Muslim. Again, if you'd rather not reference religion, that is absolutely fine by me.
    • JJ bashing. If you don't like him, just don't put him in.
    • "Otabek has a giant dick" fics. I mean, if you want to write him (or Yuri) with a big dick, I don't really mind, but some fics get super fixated on it and that's really not my thing.
    • Yuri always bottoms / Otabek always tops. I'm fine with switching, unspecified, or preferences, but not absolutes in this specific iteration.

    • What happened after Barcelona? I know we've seen a million of these fics, but I want to see yours. Do Otabek and Yuri get together right away? Are they friends for a while first? Something in-between? How often do they see each other? I would be open to a more non-traditional style with like social media integrations for this fic!

I would absolutely be here for something set during the season, as well, maybe five times Michael and Francesca were accosted by her siblings while in London haha.
    • Or maybe one (or several) of her siblings come to visit in Scotland? (My favorite Bridgertons are Hyacinth, Eloise, Colin, and Gregory, but I do love them all) - how different is her life to theirs? I always got the feeling that Scotland was less formal than most of the other Bridgertons' homes. And I imagine Francesca would probably miss that privacy, too!
    • If you want to focus on Francesca and have an angst angle, I really would like to see more of her and John together – with Michael pining hopelessly (or so he thinks) in the background!
    • Canon divergent AUs are also fun – what if John never died? Would Michael have continued to pine hopelessly forever? Would something have happened between them?
    • What if Francesca hadn't miscarried after John died? How would that have impacted her relationship with Michael? Would Michael have left at all? Would they have gotten together sooner? Not at all?
    • For canon-divergent and pre-John's death fics: I am totally here for hopeless pining for these two if that's your thing! I don't necessarily need a happy ending if an unhappy ending strikes you more!

    • But seriously re: canon divergence - I am obsessed with what might have been if Pete had taken Bob up on his offer.
    • I'd also be interested in seeing what's going on in Bob's mind. Like you're going to risk it all for a balding rat man... why? He's made it this far and... he chooses Pete? Does he actually think Pete is gay (or bi)? Or is that just his type?
    • I think it'd also be fun if Bob straight up conned Pete into some kind of arrangement. No non-con, please, but you can honestly go wild otherwise.

    Michael
    • I love him. He is one of my favorite characters (next to Pete and Peggy and Joan), and I absolutely want more of him!
    • I absolutely love Ginsberg; he’s obviously severely mentally ill, but he deserves a fair bit more love and compassion than he’s given. He definitely projects a lot of affection onto Peggy, who is really just a decent person, and I don’t believe she would ever return his feelings, but I could absolutely see them forging a friendship of sorts. Or perhaps he forges a genuine friendship with someone else – Bob? Pete? Even Stan? He doesn't seem to have any actual friends, but I would like to see him make some.
    • Also his whole little Martian spiel - clearly that's an indication of his alienation as a (gay or bisexual) Jew - "don't worry, there's no plan to take over the Earth" is the key there. Michael is living in a post-Holocaust world as not just a Jew, but an orphan (raised by an adoptive father), and a gay/bi man. There really weren't a whole lot of places for people like him - Jewish circles would have been overwhelmingly straight, and gay circles would have been largely (though not exclusively) non-Jewish - and that's assuming he even got the nerve to try to find his place among other gay men. But maybe Bob or Kurt help him out?
    • I'd also like some resolution to his storyline. He's carted off and we never see him again. What happens to him?

    Pete & Peggy
    • I think they have one of the most interesting relationships on the show! They have the shared history and secrets, but also they would be. Horrible together.
    • I'd like to see them working together, I think. I don't know that they'd ever be friends, properly, but they do have a strong bond, and the Pete and Peggy (and sometimes Don) collaborations are some of my favorite parts.
    • I also think their journey is great - at the end I think he really views her as an equal and is impressed by her work.
